Job Summary:

Support lead teachers in implementing classroom activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Assist with daily routines, provide one-on-one or small group support, and help foster children’s development through meaningful engagement and supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent — required
  • Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting — preferred
  • Ability to follow teacher direction and support individualized learning activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and staff
  • Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting early childhood development
  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily instructional activities that support early childhood development.
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Provide individualized or small-group support to reinforce lessons and developmental goals under teacher direction.
  • Help set up and clean classroom materials, maintain an organized learning space, and support daily routines.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and communicate effectively with families to support each child’s learning and well-being.
